Love all of this! Musee D'Orsay is certainly one of my favorites as well. We loved the Berges de Seine near the museum with it's fun outdoor activities. Springtime in Paris...what could be better?!

You are doing all of the unique activities that are special to Paris. A note on churches: 3 nearby churches offer concerts with student rates. Eglise St Ephrem, St Severin and St Julien Le Pauvre ( across from Shakespeare & co. They post upcoming concerts on the doors outside of the church. Another famous church on Place du Pantheon(around the corner from you) is Eglise St Etienne du Mont. This church holds the remains of Pascal, the famous French philosopher and Racine, the playwright. The church has a beautiful rood that is the last of its kind in Paris. It was also the parish church of Frederic Ozanam, the lay founder of the St Vincent DePaul Society, an organization devoted to service to the poor. Jack’s paternal grandfather was awarded the prestigious Frederic Ozanam award given to a person who exemplifies the spirit of the principles of the Society. It was presented to him in the Cathedral of St Peter & Paul in Philadelphia. Tomorrow is St Patrick’s day so you should check out the free activities celebrating the day at the Cutural Center Irlandia at 5 rue des Irlandia ( just behind the Pantheon) Keep going on your adventure.

A coffee shop across from the apartment? Can’t wait to see - and use - it!

I too love the D’orsay the best. The Marmottan in the 16th is also a favorite. And simply sitting in the Lux, reading and people-watching, is so lovely. Your adventures are great fun!

I adore the term "tumbleweeds".

I also love the idea of a "drinking platter".

That chocolate pastry deserves a spot in a museum as it is a thing of beauty.

Fun fact: We have a copy of Sapiens that Eddie Vedder purchased and signed for your dad while at the airport. Still haven't read it though :/

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
